My love for music and singing began as a child growing up in church. I love gospel music and first learned to sing in Sunday School. A Sunday School teacher taught me to play the guitar and I have been singing and writing songs throughout my life both gospel and country..

I often refer to my music as "shower songs". A few years ago I realized that I had created many songs both gospel and country but I had never recorded any of them. Most were songs that I would sing in the shower or in the car by myself. A few of the gospel songs I had sung in church but most of my songs were totally unknown to any but myself. I realized that I was not getting any younger so one by one I began to record my existing songs.

Once I started recording it has become a passion. A life event of my own or of others will capture my imagination and another song is born. I hope you will enjoy my music. The songs included in this CD are simple country ballads from a simple man. I enjoy a good love story. However, the interesting thing about country music is that country music covers the entire set of life experiences. Love, regret, success, failure, loss, happiness, sadness!
